Children’s Ministries

“The child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.”  Luke 2:40.

The Vision of the children’s ministry is to partner with the real heroes of children’s ministry, which are parents, to evangelize, disciple, and mobilize our children to grow up to be champions for Christ that will change the world they live for the glory of God. The tools we use for ministry are the Word of God, prayer, and Christ’s love through our dedicated workers that mature our children in their relationships with the Lord.

All staff and volunteers go through extensive screening before they are allowed to work with children. We provide a safe, secure and exciting learning environment with our hope and prayer that children will come to know the love of Christ and to know Jesus personally, while at the same time, to experience the church as a safe and enjoyable place. We want children to have the best possible experience every time they come to church! Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in the care of your child. 

Sunday Mornings

  • Sunday School – 9:00 and 10:30 AM 

    • Preschool: (Birth through Pre-K) divided by age – Meeting in the Sanctuary Building

    • Preschool+: Kindergarten & 1st Grade

    • Children’s Division: 2nd – 6th Grade – Meeting upstairs in our Family Ministry Center

    •  Our Vision Sunday morning is to disciple and teach our children the Word of God and to develop them into spiritual champions who will mobilize with mission to change their world in the power of the Holy Spirit. Training and modeling prayer, godly living, the fruits of the Spirits, and love for others is the goal of our outstanding ministry team. 

Sports Ministry

Through the efforts of Kenny Scruggs and his team our kids experience the lessons of being a teammate with other believers and growing in their relationship with the Lord. In the midst of their growing relationship with the Lord, our kids are taught some of the finest athletic skills from a ministry team with the combined years of experience as coaches in the area high schools as well as running the sports programs for the area elementary schools and city sports programs. All of our ministry takes place in the safety and spiritual confines of the Trinity Baptist Gym Complex.

Children’s Choir

Our children’s choir is run by Amanda Pereira and her outstanding team whose hearts desire is to raise of our kids as true worshipers of Jesus, and true disciples as they grow in the Word of God. Amanda loves Jesus and is well qualified to teach our children from her years of experience in church children’s ministry, and her experience as the leader in the community of Vacaville children’s theater. Amanda and her team not only prepare our kids to sing in special church events and services, but she also prepares the children sing in our Live Nativity, Christmas Eve Services, and Easter production. 

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (AWANA)

We meet for AWANA Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00 PM for boys and girls from age 3 through 6th grade. The goal of AWANA is to not only evangelize our children, but also to disciple our kids through memorizing scripture and working through scripture Bible study books that grow them in their faith in Christ! We also teach the kids the value of Christian fun and fellowship through AWANA game floor, and the AWANA GRAND PRIX. 

AWANA will resume in the Fall, 2024.

Vacation Bible School 2024

VBS was held on June 23-27

Kids were challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaited each day as this spiritual camp that grounds our kids in the Word of God, Missions, Creative Ministry and Fellowship and Fun awaits them every day!

Registration will open next spring forchildren who have completed Kindergarten – Sixth Grade!
